Get a full immersion into the art of Michelangelo: what is the history of the famous David? Why was Michelangelo considered a “genius” and what inspired him when sculpting this masterpiece?
Your private guide will be able to show you all the details, the known and less known facts about the history and the life of the artist, and even if Michelangelo’s David is the main reason of your visit to the Accademia, it’s not the only work of art that you can see. Take a moment to admire: “I Prigioni”, “San Matteo” and the “Palestrina Pietà” and even a collection of musical instruments! 
In the early afternoon meet again with your private guide and thanks to a dedicated access you will enter inside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, one of the most beautiful and largest cathedrals of the world, being captured by the magnificent artistic treasures.
You will admire the elegance of the spaces of the three naves, the beauty of Bandinelli wonderful marble choir, the complex of the precious stained-glass windows worked by Donatello, Ghiberti and Andrea del Castagno and the singular and mysterious clock by Paolo Uccello. 
You will be fascinated by the imposing Brunelleschi's Dome overlooking the Cathedral. It is the largest ever built in masonry and entirely frescoed by Vasari.
After the tour, you will have the possibility to spend your free time to visit the amazing Museo della Misericordia (next to the Cathedral), where you can admire works by Santi di Tito, Benedetto da Maiano, Sano di Pietro, Bachiacca, Sogliani, G. Battista Naldini and many other important artists.
